Social Media Concern

Frontier Families:

Early this morning, our Frontier administration became aware of a threat made on social media toward our school. The threat claimed that an individual intended to do harm on campus today, Wednesday, March 1. Our staff quickly engaged local law enforcement, who were also aware of the situation. The police conducted a thorough investigation and found the threat to be non-credible.

We want to reassure families that safety is a top priority at Frontier. Working in collaboration with the police, we believe our school continues to be safe, and out of an abundance of caution, we will have additional security on the grounds.

Parents, please talk with your child about the impact of threats against our school; Any and all threats (including pranks) are taken seriously, resulting in disciplinary consequences. Remind your child that if they see or hear anything threatening the safety of students or staff, they should tell a trusted adult.

Thank you for your understanding and patience today. If you have any questions, please contact the FMS  Office at (509) 766.2662.

Sincerely,

Jake Long, Principal
