GEAR UP's Algebra Prep Summer Camp will be taking place this summer from July 8th - July 31st @ Chief Moses Middle School. It is for the incoming 9th-grade students. The GEAR UP's Summer Camp letter and registration form outlining the details for the camp is below.

8th Grade Career Showcase Competition!
Crystal proudly represented Frontier at the 8th Grade Career Showcase Competition which was held Friday evening at the WSU Tri-Cities campus in Richland, WA. There was a total of 13 finalists from neighboring GEAR UP programs. GEAR UP is honored and privileged to have worked with such a hard working student during this competition!

GEAR UP would like to congratulate Crystal Bowser and Bryan Ledezma for participating in this year's GEAR UP Career Showcase Competition. Crystal was selected as a finalist and will continue on to the regional GEAR UP Career Showcase Competition which will be held on the WSU Tri-Cities campus on
April 26, 2019.
GEAR UP would also like to thank Mr. Miller, Mrs. Strophy, and Mrs. Phipps for their help and support in making this event happen!
On Saturday, April 13th, GEAR UP was able to take several Frontier 8th graders to the Empowering Youth for Health Professional Careers at BBCC. Students had the opportunity to meet healthcare professionals and students from the University of Washington School of Dentistry and Medicine. They also had a chance to participate in several hands-on workshops such as suturing, dental impressions, tooth restoration, medical simulation/vital signs, and student panel discussions.
